Buhari meets Mugabe, others at African Union session

– President Muhammadu Buhari was in attendance at the 26th ordinary session of the African Union in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

From the session which held on Saturday, January 30, President Muhammadu Buhari met with President Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe. The Nigerian leader was also captured in warm dialogue with President Ernest Bai Koroma of Sierra Leone.
While addressing the AU session on Saturday, President Buhari told the delegates present that his government will not relent until it sees that women are empowered in terms of their social welfare and security, stressing that his government is dedicated to protecting women rights.
