Amber Heard: Guilty of Smuggling Dogs in Australia

She’s been in legal hot water for bringing her two Yorkshire terriers into Australia back in May of 2015, and now Amber Heard
has pled guilty to charges of producing false documents to quarantine officials.

The “Rum Diary” dame, who married Johnny Depp last year, scored a plea deal with prosecutors to avoid more serious charges of illegally importing the prized pooches, and instead of serving 10 years in jail she’ll simply receive a one-month good behavior bond and pay a $765 fine.
During the sentencing, Heard and Depp played a video for the Sydney courthouse in which the “Pirates of the Caribbean” stud stated, “When you disrespect Australian law, they will tell you firmly. Declare everything when you come to Australia.”
